If you’re in the market looking for a Charger that deserves a restoration, the one we have here promises to tick all the boxes; at least, that’s what the owner claims.
First and foremost, let’s start with the obvious.

This a ’71 Charger that has clearly seen better days, but the good news is that rust isn’t necessarily the biggest problem this time. The body isn’t in its best shape; not only that, it comes with a series of dents and scratches, but it also needs some scotch tape to stay in one piece, possibly after a bigger hit in that area.

The interior also requires plenty of fixes, but to be honest, this isn’t necessarily a big surprise, as it is what you typically find in a car that spent many years on the side of the road.

eBay seller amro544 claims this is a barn find, but unfortunately, we’re not being provided with any information about where the car has been stored and how long it’s been in there. We’re being told it’s a one-owner matching-numbers 1971 Charger, though again, specifics are missing. This is something that should be thoroughly checked by whoever buys the car.

No information has been provided on the engine either, though we do know it’s a V8 with 41,000 miles (65,983 kilometers) on the clock. So in theory, it’s a low-mileage Charger that likely spent a great amount of time in storage and which can now be restored to become quite a gem. It sounds great, but as usual, take such claims with a healthy pinch of salt until some evidence is produced.

Whether or not this will eventually happen is something that remains to be seen, but for now, the Charger is up for sale on eBay with a $5,500 fixed price. The seller has also enabled the Make Offer button, so reach out to them if you’re interested in another deal.

The car is parked in New Jersey if you want to check it out live.
