The car on offer is finished in Bronze metallic with a set of gold stripes along the lower edge. In fact, it evokes the Lotus Esprit that Bond drove at a northern Italian ski resort in the 1981 film.
The vehicle was specially built by Lotus for a press event in the French Alps. The ski-rack-equipped Evora was subsequently used for dealership promotions.
“Lotus Silverstone have secured the Lotus Evora as featured in various publications (do a Google search on James Bond Evora). There is only one available, call today to avoid losing it to anyone else,” the advert reads. “It is an interpretation of the Lotus Esprit as seen in the film "For Your Eyes Only" by Lotus Cars marketing department.”
The one-off Bond Evora is priced at GBP44,995 (about US$71,400 at the current exchange rate) and has covered 12,932 miles (about 20,800 km) since 2009.
The vehicle also comes with Anthracite Cast Alloys, close ratio gearbox, Reverse Camera, Colour Coded Handles, Power Fold Door Mirrors. According to the ad, a Ski Rack is available at extra cost.
