One of a Kind Kia K900 Customized by LeBron James Goes to Auction for Charity

Kia has LeBron James promoting their K900 sedan, but it doesn’t mean the NBA star can’t work with them to give some of their success back. In fact, the Cavaliers’ all-time leading scorer is quite involved with his charity deeds. In fact, he spends most of his spare time taking care of his own charity called the LeBron James Family Foundation.

First unveiled at the 2015 NBA All-star game at Madison Square Garden earlier this month, the King James Edition K900 comes with some special features. Working with Celebrity Auto Group, the NBA star personalized the one-of-a-kind sedan making it every fan's delight. Select customization elements include Alcantara Suede interior and headliner, color-matched diamond contrast stitching throughout and Llumar Ceramic window tint.

Other high-end amenities found in the vehicle are the customized Lexicon Logic 7 audio system and personalized King James Limited Edition Plaque #1. “The K900 challenges everything people think they know about Kia, and the King James Edition takes on a new personality by showcasing LeBron James’ unique style,” said Tim Chaney, vice president of marketing communications at Kia Motors America.

Biding has started yesterday and runs through 3 p.m. ET on May 7, 2015. Those who are interested in the champ’s one-of personalized Kia will simply need to go online and offer their best. Not only could they get a chance to drive a unique piece of machinery, but they will also give a helping hand for children and young adults to get a proper education.

Founded in 2004, LeBron’s foundation “is aggressively implementing initiatives that have a real, meaningful impact on the lives of children across the US.” Staffed entirely by volunteers, including LeBron’s mother Gloria, wife Savannah James, and business partner Maverick Carter, the LJFF staff is dedicated to carrying out this mission.
