The Ford F-150 is generally a pickup truck not to be messed with, but there’s an incarnation of it out there that raises the bar even higher: the Shelby F-150 Super Snake.
The monsterized F-150 comes from Shelby in two configurations, a naturally aspirated V8 good for 395 hp and a supercharged version rated at 770 hp. The two are priced from $86,085 and $93,385, respectively, but if you look hard enough, you could get yourself a slightly used and heavily optioned one for more than that.

That’s right, a Super Snake pickup with tons of extras, made in 2020 and used for 530 miles (853 km) is on sale for $103,900. Granted, it is a lot more optioned than stock, with things like the Shelby Performance Stage 2 suspension, leather interior with Carbon Fiber Package, and optional 22-inch wheels, among others.

We found the truck sitting on the lot of cars owned by a dealer called RK Motors. It is one of just 250 to have been made for the 2020 model year and is specced in Rapid Red two-stage paint with the proper black stripes and Shelby body elements all around: splitter, bumper, honeycomb grilles, rockers, and so on.

The 4x4 packs the Shelby-modified engine in the bay, a 5.0 liter Coyote V8 linked to a 10-speed automatic transmission, but no other changes have been made to it compared to what the garage usually offers.

The truck was initially a Lariat, meaning it was already packed with goodies inside. Aforementioned leather and carbon aside, Shelby added things like telemetry, floor mats, and billet pads for the truck’s pedals.

Being a brand new machine, the F-150, of course, packs all the Ford-supplied high-tech hardware and software, like an 8-inch touchscreen, SYNC infotainment, 360-degree camera, and a Bang & Olufsen system for the audio needs.
