Derived from the original Swedish and Norwegian names for this sport, Ski Joering involves a race between skiers being pulled by animals, most commonly horses. This funny and crazy winter sport was practiced on a rather large scale in the North back in the day, but it seems like it won't disappear any time soon.
At least not as long as there are people willing to take this uncanny distraction to a new crazier level: moto ski joering. Since ice and snow tires are now capable of truly amazing grip in adverse conditions and motorcycles can deliver top-notch performance during the cold season, all that's left is making moto ski joering as popular as we can.
