Olympus introduces the Tough TG-Tracker, the most advanced adventure/action camera, a gadget that's literally stuffed with so much cool technology that it sounds almost unbelievable.
The main thing that makes the Olympus Tough TG-Tracker stand from the crowd is the integrated GPS and geo-data module that can store information which is, otherwise, either inaccessible or impossible to preserve.

Tough TG-Tracker brings 4K UltraHD recording through a 204-degree extreme angle F2.0 high-speed lens, with 5-axis image stabilization, 60-lumen LED headlight and a 90-degree tilt-out LCD monitor. Already, it sounds like this small camera is trying to emulate its bigger, prosumer siblings. However, these features are only scratching the surface.

The Olympus Tough TG-Tracker is waterproof to 100ft (33 m) depths, and is also dust-proof. Still, the features list also sees the new cam being shockproof to 7 ft/2.1 m, crushproof to 220 lbf/100 kgf, and freezeproof to 14°F / -10°C.

Even more, the camera comes with built-in WiFi, an accelerometer, a temperature and a barometric pressure sensor, and has enhanced GPS and compass functions.

Olympus tells us that the Tough TG-Tracker will work flawlessly even in extreme conditions where similar cameras will fail. Even more, it will also store geo-data that will complement video footage or photos, enhancing the viewers' experience.

Basically, Olympus Tough TG-Tracker will be able to testify that you were diving or flying, skydiving, going up or down mountain slopes, and will also record direction and speed, all by itself and without the need of third-party apps or gadgets.

If Olympus also delivers a range of accessories for easy installation on a motorcycle, the Tough TG-Tracker looks like one of the nicest options to shoot both the ride and the craziest moments spent off the bike.

The Olympus Tough TG-Tracker is expected in July with a price of $350, possibly changing the U.S. dollars to Euro in Europe.
