Here's a bike which retains all the glory of the old Moto Guzzi machines, neatly repainted and having received some upgrades, too: Olivier is a Frenchman who has stumbled upon a pretty mauled and rusty 850 T3, and he decided to bring back the head-turning factor.
The valves were all burnt, some of the piston rings were completely wrecked, and even the Nikasil cylinder lining was completely worn off. And yet it started, so Olivier knew he had a winner: the engine got a complete rebuilding and was bored to 1,000cc.

The old paint went away, and now the fuel tank and the rear cowl shine in bare polished metal reflections, a beautiful contrast with the black and red parts. The engine was also painted in black, matching the seat and the Lafranconi racing exhausts, while the frame and rims got an epoxy coat in a fiery red which evokes the old firefighters' vehicles.

We totally love how Olivier decided to have even the triple clamps painted in the same bight red! Finally, with a repositioned battery to create a negative space under the seat and a visually-lighter attire, and a completely rebuilt instrument dash, Olivier managed to re-create a bike which now runs great and looks even better. Seen on Un Pneu dans la Tombe.
