When you’re 10, the coolest car in the world is something like the Pagani Zonda or the Ferrari 458 Italia. By the time you’re 16, reality has sunk in and you know you can only afford an old Civic, so you endlessly troll tuning websites for the turbo kits people tell you will get your car to 400 hp.
But what if you’re seen one too many winters? According to a recent study by TrueCar.com, first spotted by Detroit News, people aged 65 and above in the States are sticking to the Cadillacs, Lincolns and Buicks of their younger days. Only two exceptions to this rule can be found among the top 10 - the affordable Hyundai Azera and the Toyota Avalon.

9. Lincoln MKZ, 54 percent
