The German tuners MEC Design recently welcomed an older model ML-Class SUV, the W164 ML500 to be more precise, into their workshop.
This is no run-of-the-mill Merc, it's the pride and joy of its owner, who probably payed top €€.

To add freshness to the old war machine, MEC added a set of sharp new wheels. The Condeni Series Type „Ultimo“ s are a massive 22 inches tall and have polished spokes camouflaged by satin black windows. The stance has also been helped hugely by a slight reduction for the suspension, thanks to an ELS lowering module.

Other updates include a new carbon fiber steering wheel and a hack made to the onboard TV lock, thus allowing videos to be show while the vehicle is on the move.

Minimal changes for maximum impact, proving the Germans did a great job designing the ML500 in the first place.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
