There are many ways for a Mercedes-Benz E-Class to qualify as desktop wallpaper material, but can wallpaper (not the kind associated with your computer) cover and E-Class?
At first, it might seem like this is the kind of question nobody asked, but, unfortunately, this isn't true. In fact, a Malaysian Merc owner has even come up with an answer.

The man dressed his W124 E-Class in wallpaper and whether we choose to zoom in on how this was applied or on the design of the car's second skin, the result is nothing short of awful. And whether we're talking about the wallpaper that covers most of the car's body, or the one used for the front and rear aprons, the conclusion still stands.

The mistreated Benz was spotted in Cheras, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, the country's capital city. Our friend Theophilus Chin was unfortunate enough to come across such a contraption. Given the fact that the man knows a thing or two about automotive design (you should check out his renderings), we're sure this spotting was not without a headache. Or maybe two.

"Meanwhile in Cheras, such car exists. Owner claims it's cheaper to paste wall paper over his Mercedes, than to have it resprayed. To me it looks like a life-sized papier-mâché car that Chinese would burn as offering to the deceased," the digital artist explained on his facebook page - at least such a pathway would make for a reasonable explanation.

What can we say? Guess this unworthy-of-the-badge Mercedes-Benz E-Class owner never heard of the wrap industry.

And the story gets even sadder when you notice the otherwise elegant shade of purple (are we looking at mauve here?) underneath the wallpaper. Speaking of Purple, we'll remind you Malaysia also happens to hold the world's only Purple LaFerrari. The irony...
