Oil Spill on Road Causes Biker to Crash

Newbies or veterans, when we come across oil patches on the road, the chances for us to crash are as high as possible. And if the bike is also leaning in a turn, not crashing is the exception.
It was the case with the rider in this video, failing to avoid the oily tracks in the middle of the lane and therefore skidding into the guardrails. This guy was fortunate enough to have been riding at a fairly low speed, on a road which seems to be a highway exit, so there was no incoming traffic.

At he same time, he luckily misses the guardrail's posts and looks ok, though a bit dizzy as expected. We might say that his low speed has really saved him, as we've seen riders crashed between their bikes and guardrails more then once.

Nevertheless, it is crucial that riders look ahead and detect such nasty road conditions as early as possible and by all means avoid the or slow down and drive careful. Some of us might not be that lucky.
