Now that the M3/M4 seems to be getting closer every day, BMW is pouring gas on the fire with some really beautiful videos of the new cars. Earlier we showed you a detailed video about the engine, now it's time for a another one.
This time, the focus has been moved to aerodynamics, the cooling system, the powertrain, chassis and suspension. All of these areas present innovations that BMW felt you needed to know before buying the new cars.
The aerodynamics, for example, have been improved by using the so-called air curtains, M gills with integrated air breathers behind the wheels and the front and rear ends have been aerodynamically optimized.
The cooling is now using an indirect high-performance intercooler, situated above the engine and not in front of it and a specially crafted, race track capable engine and transmission cooling system.
