Here are the first official pictures of the Rivale 800 bike MV Agusta has been teasing the world with since some weeks ago. The first impression is quite consistent with MV Agusta's way to build motorbikes, and the Rivale 800 clearly screams its origin and heritage.
The complex design is full of details and makes the Rivale 800 look like any bike from the future would. The three-way low-slung exhaust looks really neat, and makes a very strong style statement.
With the 3-cylinder engine delivering 125 HP and a 175 kg (386 lbs) weight, the MV Agusta Rivale 800 promises quite a lot of fun for the daring rider. We're not sure yet as to which bike is Rivale's direct rival, but the Ducati Streetfighter 848 is definitely on the list. The MV Agusta Rivale 800 will become available in the second half of 2013 for the announced price of €10,990 ($13,945).
