One of the oldest and most respected BMW tuners, Hartge, has just released its own F06 Gran Coupe. There are a lot of new options available for the 6 Series and most are impressive.
First of all, the specialty of Hartge is engine tuning. For this model, they offer two engine conversions based on the N55 3-liter 6-cylinder engine, that produces 320 HP stock. The Hartge version goes up to 367 HP and 520 Nm of torque (compared to the stock 450 Nm).
Another tuned version is the one of the N57 diesel engine, found on the 640d. The stock 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine produces 313 HP whilst the Hartge version takes it up to 362 HP and 730 Nm of torque (the stock version has 630 Nm).
All that extra power will be riding of new suspension, lowered for the 640i by 25 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear. Meanwhile, the 640d will be lowered by 30 mm at the front and 25 mm at the rear.
Since we're still talking about the exterior of the car, let's say that if you'll get the Hartge version you'll receive, amongst other stuff, the Hartge emblem on the bonnet and boot lid, Hartge stainless steel cat back exhaust system and special designed wheels called Ultima Silver. Also available for the Gran Coupe are the Smokey Silver and the Hartge Classic 2 wheels.
Going inside we'll notice a lot of new details. The german tuner offers Hartge aluminum pedals for the automatic gearbox, aluminum emblem for the steering wheel and a set of Hartge floor mats.
