Of Maserati, Ermenegildo Zegna and Ernest Hemingway

A Farewell to Arms is the first best-seller that cemented Ernest Hemingway’s stature as a modern American writer. How does that relate with Maserati and Italian luxury fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna? Well, the hotel where the young writer wrote this book while recovering from a war wound is the same place the premium automaker will celebrate their high-end collaboration.

By now you probably got accustomed to the way luxury car makers promote their brand. Maserati is by far one of those who take details to their utmost importance because in their approach that is what makes the difference. At least that’s what we get out of their recent announcement in which they detail the celebration of the partnership they seized with the premium apparel manufacturer.

Stresa, located on the shores of Lake Maggiore, renowned for its antiquity and timeless beauty, is the perfect place to start the Maserati Lifestyle Journey where the Ghibli and Quattroporte MY 2016 will be presented,” the premium automaker explains.

Everything from the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees to the test drive the second day of the event, and the stop at Casa Zegna, a historical archive and cultural centre in Trivero, has been carefully prepared.

As we previously announced, the collaboration of the two brands will offer an advanced level of customization and luxuries interiors exclusively for Maserati. The Italian luxury carmaker is celebrating 100 years of existence, and this partnership is just one of the several ventures that underline the occasion.

We’ve listed the company’s press release bellow for further details, but we would like to add that bringing a legendary novelist like Hemingway into the marketing factor seems to be a little too far fetched.
