The all new Lexus RC along with the performance RC F model and the special F Sport trim are due to go on sale later this year, most probably this fall.
Until then, it loos like the luxury manufacturer is continuing with real life benchmarking and last tweaks for the model. A Club Lexus member recently spotted and posted photos with a Lexus RC F performance coupe finished in Obsidian Black apparently cruising on the highways of Southern California.

These are probably the first real photos on the Internet with the RC F being painted in black in case you were curious. Yeah, it looks pretty mean, but why have it in black and hide away all those carefully sculpted shapes when the automaker is also offering it in Blue and Silver? Or maybe it needs something more spicy to set it appart?

However, with a 5-liter V8 upgraded to push over 450 hp, that huge spindle grille up front next to those fierce looking headlamps, the RC F will surely stand out in a crowd.

Speaking of spotting, the upcoming Mustang GT350 in its prototype form has been also seen in the same region recently. The GT500 replacement should get on sale sometime next year and it’s said to come with over 500 hp.

Still, which one would you get?
