This Zuffenhausen machine is dressed in Oak Green Metallic, a Paint To Sample shade that allows the supercar to stand out without having to scream. Of course, given the extrovert aero package of the GT2 RS, there's no way to label this Neunelfer as discreet - pixel tip to PTSRS for the image of the car.

The spec of the rear-engined toy skips the Weissach Package, as well as the magnesium wheels. Note that the two can be ordered as separate options. Speaking of which, the rims of this car come in a satin platinum finish.

However, the wheels simply can't conceal the banana-colored calipers, with the latter signaling the presence of PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes). Note that carbon ceramic brakes don't just bring extra fading resistance, but also lower unsprung weight, which means that tackling road irregularities is more accessible. However, this stopping hardware isn't without its drawbacks, with these involving noisy operation.

Since we mentioned the configuration of the supercar, we should also list the all-LED headlights and the full bucket seats.

We'll remind you that the Porsche 911 GT2 RS returned to the headlines these days, with the machine having set a new Nurburgring record.

Sure, the Nordschleife production car record of the 2RS had been grabbed by the Lamborghini Huracan SVJ. But the German automotive producer has now returned to the infamous German track with the GT2 RS MR.

Having been lightly massaged by Porsche-owned Manthey Racing, the newcomer managed to become the quickest street-legal sportscar on the Nordschleife, thanks to a chronograph number of 6:40.3.

And with the Nurburgring closing its gates for 2018 later this month, it looks like the Neunelfer will keep its record for a while.
