When lapping the Nurburgring at full pace, one must be prepared to deal with the consequences of a crash. Alas, there's simply no other way of dealing with this unspoken rule of the Green Hell.
And the latest example of what can happen when one gets caught out while hooning a car on the infamous German circuit comes from Misha Charoudin. We're talking about the Nurburgring settler who constantly brings us spicy tales from the track.
Unfortunately, Misha recently introduced the BMW M4 of the Ring accommodation and car rental company he works for to a tire wall. Fortunately, neither the YouTuber, nor Diana, his passenger, were injured in the accident.
The vlogger decided to walk us through the aftermath of the incident, dropping all the little details of the adventure. As such, we got to find out that replacing the damaged safety element on the side of the track will set him back around €1,000 ($1,200 at the current exchange rates), while the Bongard Club access (getting a ride on the platform truck) cost €270 ($325).
As for the damage sustained by the M4, Misha estimates this will sit anywhere between €5,000 ($6,000) and €12,000 ($14,400).
We have to thank Misha for not hiding the actual crash footage in the middle of the video. In fact, the YouTube clip starts with the moment of the accident, but, given all the explanations provided in the rest of the video, we'd stick around until the end.
For one thing, the video does offer a few hints towards a slippery incident that might've caused this crash, with the accident appearing to involve unusual ABS behavior, at least for a clean track situation.
And yes, this is the second time this year when Misha crashes one of his "company cars" on the Nordschleife - the previous accident involved a Toyota GT86 and the Small Carousel.
