Nurburgring: Wild SUV Crash

When the name “Nurburgring” is heard, all automotive enthusiasts show a huge smile, one that may last for quite a while, but we have to remember that racing is a dangerous activity. Thus, when you do fulfill your dream of driving your car to or past the limit, you must remember that the term “safey” is extremely relative when talking about a racetrack.
We are here to bring you a recent example of what can happen if you enthusiasm surpasses your driving skills while driving on a track. The clip shows a Honda CR-V that is destroyed in a violent, almost unbelivable crash on the ‘Ring, with the video’s description claiming that both the driver and the passenger are quite OK after the accident.

So, let’s see what happened: the driver entered the Eiskurve bend in a nice state of oversteer, but here is where the good stuff ends. Next, he corrected the move, but exaggerated (if you play the clip in slow motion you’ll notice how he’s still countersteering when the vehicle is already heading the other way) and send the car sliding to the other side.

As you can see, the vehicles then rolls over and enters a violent series of impacts, with the car finally landing over the guard rail, in an extremely spectacular, and painful, way. Do not try this at home!
