Brace yourselves, winter is coming, and it's going to put an end to racing in Europe, at least the kind of racing where you ton't use counter-steering to take corners. And it's not a moment too soon, because slick road conditions have claimed a couple of cool cars at VLN 10, a Clio Cup 200 and Toyota GT 86.
What is VLN 10? Well, VLN stands for Veranstaltergemeinschaft Langstreckenpokal Nürburgring, which is German for Association of Nürburgring Endurance Cup Organisers. 10 big clubs from Germany take turns in organizing races at the famous track. VLN 1 is the famous ADAC race, VLN 10 being the last one is oragazined by MSC Munster.
Cars racing at the VLN range from normal street cars with roll cages to old DTM cars, belonging to professional racing teams. If we're not mistaken, both the Clio and 86 belong to the same "Cup" series.
