Nurburgring-Crashed Koenigsegg One:1 Back at Factory, More Upgrades Coming?

Everybody remembers the Koengisegg One:1 that crashed while trying to set a Nurburgring production car lap record back in 2016. As expected, Angelholm rebuilt the car, with this being unveiled earlier this year for the grand opening of a new K dealer in Lucerne, Switzerland. Well, the monster, which now packs the KNC (Koenigsegg Naked Carbon) body, seems to have returned to the factory recently.
Chassis #107 was spotted in the proximity of the Angelholm mothership and it looks like the most likely reason for its return is some sort of upgrade the owner wanted (yes, this is a customer car).

As you'll be able to notice in the Instagram posts at the bottom of the page, the machine was caught on camera, with this wearing the typical body protection used during such episodes.

The 1-kilo-per-hp toy was spotted by Christoffer F, who likes to hang around that part of Sweden and shoot these hypercars (as per his Insta account, the aficioando has spotted 75 Ks to date). And if you scroll through the comments section of the post below, you'll notice he confirms these are not old photos.

Returning to the Green Hell, Christian von Koenigsegg hinted that the machine could blitz the infamous German circuit in 7:40, while explaining the machine had been downtuned from 1,361 to 900 hp for the testing did back in the day (here's the story of the ABS sensor that caused the accident, with a "voluntary recall" making sure it wouldn't happen again to any Koenigsegg out there).

Of course, we'll never get to see the One:1 attempting to go for Nordschleife glory. And that's because the 1,600 horsepower downforce monster that is the Jesko might just try that. Speaking of which, we need to keep in mind that the carmaker has yet to introduce the 300 mph "sister car" of the Jesko (call it a different configuration if that's what you like) that will obviously pack less aggressive aero.
