Based on the E38 7 Series, the Alpina B12 6.0 was and still is a thing of beauty. Maybe it's those classic turbine wheels, maybe it's because of that Alpina Blue paint job, we're not sure, but it's awesome.
Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, in 1999, everyone skipped a heartbeat. Based on the BMW 750i, the engineers from the German company managed to take the 5.4-liter engine up to a 6-liter capacity.

That way, the V12 delivered 436 HP and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, 500 of them from 1,700 RPM. Furthermore, the interior, body and everything else was enhanced by Alpina for a true, powerful and classy limousine.

Looking around on the pistonhead.com website, we even found one up for sale. The ad says it has 97,000 miles (155,200 km) on the odometer, was built in 1999 and is in 'superb condition'.

The photos sure seem to confirm that daring statement. Look for yourselves. We'd definitely go for it if we had €35,000 ($46,000) laying around, waiting to be spent.
