Upon teasing us, Italian aftermarket Novitec is now introducing its Lamborghini tunign division. Dubbed Novitec Torado, this comes to life by bringing us an Aventador that’s been taken all the way up to 969 hp.
Novitec can play with the 6.5-liter V12 engine in various stages, offering the following outputs:
• 722 HP and 704 Nm (519 lb-ft) of torque
• 728 HP and 709 Nm (523 lb-ft) of torque
• 743 HP and 716 Nm (528 lb-ft) of torque
• 748 HP and 722 Nm (532 lb-ft) of torque
• 969 HP and 912 Nm (672 lb-ft) of torque
At the top of the range we find a bi-kompressor kit that, apart from the two superchargers, ads custom parts for the intake, exhaust, new injectors, a high-capacity fuel pump, all harnessed by a new set of ECU maps.
While the 0 to 62 mph time isn’t improved by all that much due to traction reasons (it now sits at 2.8s), the rest of the performance is seriously boosted. For example, the 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) sprint now takes 7.4 seconds.
You can complete the tech upgrade pack by choosing an adjustable KW coilover suspension, as well as custom wheels. The rims come in a 20/21-inch size and are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubber.
The Novitec Torado Lamborghini Aventador also gets a carbon fiber body kit using a medium approach in terms of styling boldness. Climbing aboard, we find new types of leather, carbon fiber trim and a Revox audio system.
Novitec even offers a configurator for the beast and you can play with this here.
