Novitec Rosso Ferrari California Details Released

The tuners at Novitec Rosso have apparently completed the next task on their ‘to do’ list: a Ferrari California. The styling and performance package details have been released, but unfortunately without a price tag... yet. Just as expected, Novitec Rosso worked more on the performance features, adding some power and aerodynamic benefits to the most affordable Ferrari dream.

So, getting straight to the point, the tuners updated the 4.3-liter V8 engine which is now able to produce 500 hp (368 kW) and 518 Nm of torque (compared to 460 hp and 485 Nm on the standard model).

The new performance figures were made possible by installing a new engine management system (with custom mapping for injection and ignition) and a stainless-steel exhaust system with metal catalysts and a flap actuator operated from the Manettino switch on the steering wheel.

Other tweaks include sport springs (which lower the ride height by 35 mm) and a hydraulic lift system that raises the front end 40 mm.

That reportedly allows drivers to safely navigate parking garage ramps or speed bumps. At a second push of the button or automatically when reaching a speed of 80 km/h the front reverts to its original position.

The styling features, however, are also worth mentioning, with a carbon fiber body kit which includes a front spoiler, attractive side skirts, a rear diffuser, and a trunk-mounted spoiler. The visual appearance is completed by the three-piece NF3 wheels, which measure 9Jx21 front and 11.5Jx22 rear, outfitted with Pirelli tires.

Inside, Novitec Rosso allows Ferrari California owners to customize the interior with an unlimited number of leather and Alcantara combinations.
