Novitec Rosso Edizione 747 Released

It's been quite some time since we heard from Novitec Rosso, but we must say, the wait was worth it. The tuners have apparently been hard at work into creating the newest tuning kit for the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, one which, in its own way, says "Bye, Bye, Scuderia!"

Dubbed Edizione 747, the tuning kit packs both performance and styling upgrades. Unlike what we first thought, the Edizione is not inspired by any Boeing technologies (although, performance wise, we might be inclined to believe so), but takes its name after the number of horses hidden under the hood: 747 at 8,500 rpm!

The performance has been achieved by adding a Novitec Rosso 747 Bi-Compressor engine, bringing the already high output (510 hp) to the aforementioned figure. This enhancement allows the Ferrari to reach 60 in 3.4 seconds and keep on accelerating until the speedometer stops at
351 km/h (218 mph).

As you can see, to celebrate the end of production for the 430, Novitec thought to give it a look to remember. The Berlinetta now features two-tone special matte yellow and Grey paint job, black taillights, side markers and reflectors.

The paint job on the body is continued on the three-piece 20-inch NF3 double-spoke wheels, shoed in Michelin Pilot Cup sport tires. Underneath, sport springs have been added to lower the ride height by 30 mm.

On the inside, the 430 brings a combination of leather and carbon-fiber, which can come, on request, in the same two-tone colors as on the outside.

Prices for the tuning kit have not been released.
