Novitec McLaren 570S Savagely Mixes 650S Power with Lots of Carbon Fiber

By now, anybody with the sligthest interest in cars has found out the McLaren 570S is anything but junior, with the Sports Series Woking machine punching well above its weight (Huracan drag race, anybody?). And this can only mean... the 570S is getting even faster.

Italian tuner Novitec has released its take on the Macca in what we see as a normal move now that the Woking-targeting side of the tuning market has finally come out of its hatch.

The supercar's 3.8-liter V8 has been gifted with a custom exhaust system and an ECU remap - customers can choose between a stainless steel exhaust or an Inconel one. The later is the material used by Formula One car exhaust systems, but the aftermarket specialist doesn't mention the resulting diet. As for the dark finish of the ehxaust tips, this is an optional feature.

Nevertheless, these tech changes allow the McLaren 570S to offer an extra 76 hp, which means it now delivers almost the same maximum output as its 650S Super Series big brother. Those of you who enjoy talking maximum velocity figures will be thrilled to find out the machine can now climb up to 208 mph (335 km/h).

The tech side of the tuning adventure also involves a lowering suspension, while Novitec provides custom wheels coming in a size of 21 inches up front and 20 inches at the back. It's worth noting that the tuner has added one inch to the size of the factory wheels.

Those who look at a McLaren 570S and think "hmm... this is not as aggressive as it should be," have apparently made their voices heard, with the carbon fiber package delivered by the Italian tuner bringing out the visual demons of the Mac. The kit consists of a front splitter, side skirts, as well as a rear apron with a diffuser, an air-hungry engine cover and, of course, a fixed rear wing.

While Novitec currently targets the 570S and the 540 flavors of the McLaren Sports Series, the tuning label is also working on a package for the 570GT, so you can drive across the continent in your custom McLaren.

If you too are wondering how the "problem" of the untouched cabin can be solved, perhaps McLaren's own Track Package for the 570S, which also debuted today, can answer that question.
