Not Remapping Your Ducati for Termignoni Silencers Makes a Flamethrower

Here's an exceptional and spectacular video of what can happen when one decides to install Termignoni aftermarket exhausts in a Ducati 848 Evo without re-mapping the ECU: the bike turns into a flamethrower, and despite the sight is mesmerizing, it is also dangerous for both rider and machine. And definitely not street-legal.
Aftermarket, high-performance exhausts come with increased gas flow, reducing the pressure in the exhaust duct, and causing the engine to let go more unburnt gasoline, which ignites inside the hot canisters. The result is similar to what a jet fighter exhaust looks like... but missing the thrust altogether.

All that happens is completely unnecessary heat build-up and flames. This can damage the bike's looks and will also cause engine failure if not addressed properly. A proper remapping must be done on a dynojet according to new specs: this will eliminate the unwanted flames, and will make sure the new bike-exhaust combo delivers the top performance.
