Tesla might have discontinued the Model S P85+, but that doesn't mean the luxury EV will just disappear from the car scene. The latest proof comes from Norway, where a so-called local 'Stig' took the car for a spin.
Those familiar with Tesla's range know the Model S P85+ has been discontinued, but Elon Musk quickly filled the blank space with the Model S P85D. Its dual-engine all-wheel drive makes it the fastest-accelerating sedan in the world, but we're not here to talk about this version.
Instead, we'll focus on what SledDogsSkates did with a Tesla Model S P 85+. You see, it looks like the Norwegians have a Stig of their own, most likely not a relative of the original Stig from TopGear.
However, they wanted to show the world that the all-electric sedan can perform in bad weather, as some skeptics still claim that Teslas can't work in winter. Oh, it's Norway we're talking about, so their idea of bad weather goes way beyond rain and dark clouds in the sky. So expect a lot of snow in the video, along with a dubstep track to fuel the atmosphere.
Also, you can see some shy drifting attempts from the sedan, but this Norwegian Stig settled for a normal driving style. To put things into perspective, you might remember how a couple of months ago we showed you a Tesla Model S P85D racing a snowmobile on a frozen lake, in the same realm of the snow called Norway.
