Norton Hornets has unveiled the 2014 Nissan Altimas that will be driven by James Moffat and Michael Caruso in this year’s V8 Supercars Championship.
Fitted with an updated aerodynamics package, the Norton Altima features a revised livery with a pearlescent yellow paint and reflective white vinyl in the "Norton" logo. The V8-powered Japanese will definitely attract a lot of attention with its striking appearance.
The 2014 V8 Supercars Championship, which also includes a Volvo entry, is scheduled to commence on February 27 in Adelaide, South Australia.
“For Nissan Motorsport and the two Norton Altimas, it’s important that we show strong improvement in our second year, and it’s critical that we start to win races. Whether that happens straight away, I’m not sure, but as more upgrades come through, then all the signs are there that we can start challenging on a week-to-week basis,” said Michael Caruso.
