If there is an upcoming special superbike to be excited for that has to be the one following to come from British motorcycle maker Norton. And you only have to watch this short teaser to understand how much of a cool factor its upcoming V4 bike will have.
Norton Motorcycles is teasing its upcoming V4 model through a short video posted on its Facebook page, and along with that come some hints about what this new beast will be like.

The first thing to notice is the bike being offered in two versions, a limited edition V4 Superbike with a staggering price tag of £44,000 (€48,800/$54,000), and a standard one offered at a slightly saner £28,000 (€31,000/$34,400).

As you can imagine, the two will share the same 1,200 V4 engine claimed to crank 200 hp, but will differ a lot regarding suspension, wheels, and other parts.

Expect the Superbike to come with a lot of carbon fiber parts along with a rearview camera instead of mirrors, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, up/down quickshifter and probably even more. The standard version will do with plastic body panels and maybe fewer tech nannies.

That's about it for now, with the video telling the new bike will be unveiled on November 19th. Don't forget to check back in for the full reveal and specifications.

It's been more than 35 years since Norton brought its last Superbike but it looks like on its way to bring back the segment. The current offer, including models like the retro-style Dominator and Commando 961, are oriented towards oldschool-hearted riders and pretty much look like modern cafe racers.

The V4 model will represent a departure from the old design to something very modern while still retaining a slight classic aroma. The engine is also the biggest one the company has ever used, as well as the first vee-four in its lineup.
