Nissan has just unveiled the revised range o NV200 LCVs, which will go on sale in Britain starting July 1st, enhanced by the addition of Bluetooth, sat-nav and a more powerful engine.
The base model now comes standard with Bluetooth connectivity, which extends across the entire NV200 range. Nissan realized this feature was essential for anyone who wants to run a business on the move, enabling them to stay connected at all times.
Move further up the range to the SE grade, and you can expect to see another new standard fit item – a rear view camera. An essential item for any commercial driver backing into tight spots with a full load on board, the system displays a clear picture of what’s behind you on a dashboard-mounted screen.
For those customers who want the very best equipment in their cabin, the new £13,585 n-tec variant is sure to fit the description. In addition to the generous standard kit offered by SE trim, n-tec adds the Nissan Connect satellite navigation and communication system along with cruise control and a speed limiter which can be adjusted by the driver.
What’s under the bonnet has also received a slight revision, in addition to the existing 85hp 1.5-litre dCi, a more powerful 110hp version of the same engine will be offered. Despite the added power, it’s still compliant with Euro 5 emissions regulations and available on all but the entry-level E-grade NV200. If equipped with the more powerful unit, the owner can also spec a six-speed manual gearbox.
“We’ve been delighted by the success of the NV200 which has proved that a new van can make a big impression in an established market if it offers the right mix of innovation, quality and value. With significant range enhancements and a powerful new flagship engine, we look forward to even stronger demand for the NV200 over the coming months,” said Nissan’s LCV sales and marketing director, Francis Bleasdale.
