Nissan to Showcase 15 Models at Upcoming Car Shows

Even though the Detroit Auto Show is about to open its doors, the Japanese automaker recently announced their plans for future car exhibitions, promising that they will display a total of 15 unique models. However, Nissan doesn't plan to introduce new models, the company said in a statement released to the press, because together with AUTECH Japan and Nissan Motorsports International Co, it plans to present a series of aftermarket cars customized with unique parts.

Basically, we're talking about two autoshows, namely the upcoming "Tokyo Auto Salon 2009 with NAPAC" to be held from January 9-11 at Makuhari Messe and the "Osaka Auto Messe 2009" from February 13-15 at Intex, Osaka.

“Nissan will showcase its range of standard road cars stylized with the latest aero body-kits while still retaining a pure simplistic form. AUTECH promises a series of exciting custom cars whilst NISMO will feature its high-performance range. Through the three brands, Nissan offers a wide range of custom and after-market parts to thrill and exhilarate fans,” Nissan said in the statement.

Here is the complete list (as provided by Nissan) with the models to be unveiled at the two aforementioned events:
