Nissan really knows how to make a striking concept, and if the teaser for their latest crossover concept is anything to go by, then our expectations are justifiably high. Called the Resonance, it is a crossover vehicle, which the Japanese manufacturer will be showing off at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit.
Nissan have not revealed much, and the teaser they have released is hardly revealing. Still, it has very bold lines, very boldly-shaped rear lights, and a rakish coupe side profile. Door lines are visible, so we can say that this is not a coupe, so it may preview the next generation Murano SUV, which is due for replacement in 2014.

Not a lot of information is known other than the fact that the styling will be very bold, and what Nissan themselves have said about the car: "The Resonance is the latest in a series of envelope-pushing crossover designs from Nissan, fusing bold, breakthrough styling with hybrid-electric powertrain technology."
