Nissan has released pictures of a new concept which is set to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show. The fuel-cell-powered SUV, called the TeRRA probably previews Nissan’s upcoming styling language, and we will start seeing cues from this concept on their road cars, in years to come.
The concept’s name brings one of Nissan’s production vehicles to mind, the xTerra, a bland-looking SUV which has been in production since 1999 in Brazil and the US. It features hidden door handles, very bold creases and a similar headlight placement to the Juke crossover - one of the company’s best design efforts, we say.

Francois Bancon, Nissan's division general manager of product strategy and planning "Our challenge was to take Nissan's strength in SUVs and crossovers forward into the zero-emissions era, fuel cells being our new frontier in zero emission mobility [. . .] Not big and tough for the desert, the aim was a new approach to SUVs that's relevant to urban life.  The unique diagonal seating layout that offers an exciting driving experience thanks to exceptional visibility that creates a sense of being in control under any conditions."
