Just a few days separate us from the full reveal of this crossover, the second generation of the Qashqai, the vehicle that kept Nissan's head above water during the European economic crisis.
We think the Qash's success surprised even them, since it's their biggest seller. 2 million of them have been made in the 7 years since its launch and over 300,000 roll off the line every year. But with the second generation, they are not taking any chances, and are developing a car that is quieter, more economical and better to drive.
"In the process of developing the second-generation Qashqai, Nissan has left no stone unturned. With more experience in the crossover sector than any other rival, Nissan has been able to set new benchmarks for active safety technologies, driver comfort and refinement. Developed and tested around the world in all weather conditions and honed to perfection at the Nissan Technical Centre Europe, UK, it rewrites the crossover rulebook," Nissan says.
Check out the test footage and the photo gallery below. Since the new Qash should go on sale in just a few month, tell us if you're going to buy one.
