Nissan's sedans have always been cheap to buy, but never as appealing as the equivalent Honda model. That seems to be changing!
The new Sentra sedan was revealed in all its boring glory as a 2013 model year and has gained a few minute touches for the 2014MY. It's offered with a 1.8 and… oh my God that's a body kit?
The Sentra got a Nismo body kit for the 2013 LA Auto Show. Nismo stands for NISsan MOtorsports and it's their way of saying "look at me, I've got a crazy bumper and big wheels". Right now, the Sentra Nismo is only a concept, but a full production version should be coming in about six months or so.
Power for the concept comes from 1.8-liter direct injection engine which has been turbocharged to 240 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Fans of hot sedans will appreciate the lowered stance, larger 19-inch RAYS wheels with 225/35R19 Michelin Super Sport tires and crisp color combination.
