If you consider having a smartphone connected to your car being too mainstream already, check out what Nissan is bringing at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Nissan is proud to present us the Nismo Watch Concept - the first smartwatch to connect car and driver performances. This amazing piece of wearable technology can monitor the efficiency of the vehicle (average speed, fuel consumption), access vehicle telematics and performance data while on track, capture driver’s biometric data and receive tailored messages from Nissan.

Moreover, the Nismo Watch Concept will track and rate the user’s social performances on different media websites like Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.

The watch’s design was inspired by the Nismo ring and is reflected in a seamless, futuristic and ergonomic design, having a simple user interface that can be controlled by two buttons.

It will also be available in three colors - black, white and black/red - and each one of them will arrive in a special Nismo case, closed with four bolts and having a special Ikea-like wrench to open it. Sweet!
