The Nissan GT-R is a legend of the Japanese performance car world. Right now, it's in a state of neglect, but rather than dwell on that for too long, we're going to put the spotlight on something classic, the R34 generation.
Our idea of a perfect R34 Skyline would have the Rays 5-spoke racing wheels inside some fat tires, but this custom job isn't too bad either. Wheel specialists Vossen were tasked with putting fresh shoes on this Japanese pony, and they chose gold ones.

This alloy design is called Series 21 and looks like it belongs to an Italian supercar. It's a 3-piece design and the gold plating (not real gold, obviously) adds a bit of color to an otherwise gray body.

Despite being an icon of the late 1990s, the R34 Skyline GT-R was never offered in America. A handful of cars were imported legally, which makes them extremely valuable. However, this information isn't that relevant here, as we're dealing with a model from South Korea. That's probably why it's modified with no concern for value or history.

Even by Fast & Furious standards, this GT-R is very colorful. Peaking under its hood, we see a multitude of new pipes, cables, and brightly colored screws. It's even got a custom stainless engine coolant tank, which some might say is overkill. Even when covered in purple, the RB26 is one of the best, the coolest engines ever.

The body kit is subtle and looks a bit like the V-Spec model with the Z-tune package, a really popular look. You've got the vented hood, a carbon rear wing and carbon skirts around the car. Take a moment to appreciate the shape, which is easily one of the best coupes Japan has ever produced. Despite costing at least $100,000, one of these seems like a good investment to make.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
