As you can see in the adjacent photos, Nissan restyled the front fascia, with redesigned headlights and a less boxy overall design. At the rear, the Qashqai now features LEDs plus a number of other features, all of them due to be unveiled at a later date, closer to the official launching moment.
The curious thing is that Nissan might keep the engine lineup untouched, although more and more automakers are launching, along with new versions of their cars, more environmentally-friendly configurations.
If we are to trust the rumors, the future Qashqai will comprise the current four units: the 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter petrol units with 105 and 140 horsepower respectively plus the 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter diesel units that are generating either 103 or 106 and 150 horsepower.
Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the interior but the company will most likely offer a slightly modified cabin, probably with only a few extra features, depending on the equipment levels.
More information are, just as we mentioned, expected to be revealed in the upcoming months. Pricing is believed to remain in the same range as for the current Qashqai.
