The Nissan Micra is small, underpowered, not very good looking and in some markets overpriced as well. For all intents, it's a car we should be ignoring, but we can't because in the past year or so it's captured people's imaginations, especially in Asia where it's sold as the "March".
The car named after the first month of Spring just received a major boost to its street creds, thanks to a body kit from Japanese tuner Impul. Shown earlier this month at the Tokyo Auto Salon, their changes include an imposing set of blade-like skirts, a huge trunk lid wing, larger five-spoke alloys, sports exhaust and a new rear bumper.
The bad news for those wanting to turn their Micra into a hot hatch comes when you realize there are no engine modifications. Then again, we can't really blame the Japanese tuner, since the Micra doesn't have very tunable engines.
But, if you want a Micra that's not ashamed to sit alongside a 370Z, Impul has the perfect aftermarket goods.
