If you take a close look at the iPhone 4S video, you’ll notice the gadget being nicely accommodated in a Nissan Leaf, with the footage trying to hide the car as much as possible. The mainstream explanation for this is that a car interior had to be used in order for Apple to showcase Siri, the voice recognition assistant function of the phone.
However, we’d rather place our money on the fact that the Leaf is the one actually using the iPhone, in order to bring a little bit of audio experience into its quiet EV cabin. Regardless of that, we’re expecting the current in-car voice recognition systems to be outperformed by Siri, but we’ll have to wait a while in order to see CUT hear if that’s actually true.
Will the iPhone 4S communicate with the Leaf's navigation system in order to give you directions to the Apple HQ if you say "Take me to your leader"?
