Nissan has announced the introduction of a brand new ownership scheme for the all-electric Leaf in the United Kingdom. Created to help customers use and own a Leaf, the scheme “makes five cast iron pledges” that improve the ownership experience of Nissan’s compact green car.
Available at all the company’s dealerships across the UK, the scheme promises rapid charge for free at 205 Nissan retailers and on the Electric Highway, the availability of a free petrol or diesel Nissan for up to 14 days, 24-hour Leaf test drives, free pan-European EV roadside assistance and free battery state of health guarantee.

“By making firm promises across five key areas we are tackling head on some of the questions we hear from potential customers when considering electric cars for the first time. These commitments deliver unprecedented levels of support to customers and make the LEAF a practical, desirable and affordable reality for many more motorists,” said Jim Wright, managing director at Nissan Motor Great Britain.
