While the original Juke was born back in 2010 and the second generation of the Nissan has landed earlier this month, the styling, especially that of the originals, splits opinions like few others these days. And this is probably the reason for which the one we have here is getting a widebody conversion.
The build is currently worthy of the work-in-progress label and yet the pair of images in the social media post below, which is all we have so far, is enough to give us a solid taste of the compact's newfound look.
The add-on fenders are definitely the attention magnet here. And I have to mention the rather small (lengthwise) front units are extremely different to the ones at the back, which spread from the rear apron all the way through the rear dooe (it's a three-piece unit).
Then we have the lower aero, which consists of front and rear apron elements, together with fat side skirts. Of course, we musn't forget the aerodynamic element adorning the roof, which looks more like a tail than anything else. As for the wheels, well, their uber-fat lips allow them to fill out the newly-added arches.
Here's to hoping that the nano-grade ground clearance comes via air suspension. Otherwise, this thing wouldn't be able to drive over the tiniest rock.
And since the upper lights of the Juke are missing, perhaps something new is coming to this area of the Nissan.
Note that the project is taking place in Indonesia and while the shop behind it most likely won't throw in a GT-R powertrain, as Nissan has done with the uber-limited Juke-R and Juke-R 2.0, this contraption is certainly worthy of our attention.
Or perhaps I'm wrong and this little monster will get its fair share of Godzilla power, just like it happened with that Russian-tuned Juke.
