Nissan Juke US Pricing Released

The odd looking yet very popular Nissan Juke will make its way into the US this October and, in preparation for that moment, Japanese manufacturer Nissan released the pricing for the model in North America.

The crossover will retail starting from $18,960 and will be available in the US in eight models. All will be powered by a single engine, the 1.6l Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) Turbo, which develops 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is being offered with two transmission choices, the Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with S-Mode and a 6-speed manual transmission (for the SV FWD and SL FWD models only). The best fuel economy, 27 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, is being offered by the JUKE CVT FWD models.

“We believe JUKE's unique combination of motorsports-inspired exterior and interior design and unexpected levels of technology – along with a starting MSRP under $19,000 – is going to propel JUKE into the heart of the fast-growing compact hatchback/crossover market," said Al Castignetti, Nissan North America general manager.

The vehicle comes equipped with six air bags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Nissan Navigation System with XM NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic Information, body-colored mirrors and front door handles, "hidden" rear door handles and standard 17-inch wheels and tires.

One of the Juke's defining features is the Integrated Control (I-CON) system, which allows the driver to select three driving modes: Normal, Sport and Eco.

The Juke models and their respective prices are listed below:

  • S CVT FWD $18,960
  • SV MT FWD $20,260
  • SV CVT FWD $20,760
  • SL MT FWD $22,550
  • SL CVT FWD $23,050
  • S CVT AWD $20,460
  • SV CVT AWD $22,260
  • SL CVT AWD $24,550
