Things are progressing nicely on the Nissan Juke-R build that will turn your average city crossover into one of the fastest cars in the world. The third video in a series of presentations detailing how they put together the vehicle that will debut at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show talks about how they modified the chassis to cope with the GT-R powertrain.
As you’ll notice, the whole floor had to be removed in order to make room for the AWD drivetrain of the GT-R. However, the rest of the body has been kept, and the team has stripped it all down to the shell, after which a race-spec rollcage was fitted.
As fans of the GT-R, we found the details to be fascination and we definitely can’t wait for the full reveal now. After they’ve dealt with the chassis, the next and forth video will show us how they fitted the massive twin-turbo V6 into the car that was designed for small four-cylinder units.
