Nissan’s Nismo go-fast division is set to introduce an aggressive expansion, with the first indication of this being the Juke Nismo Concept. The company is now studying the reaction of the public in preparation for the vehicle’s production launch.
According to WhatCar?, Nissan will decide whether to give the green light to the project early next year, with the production car set to arrive within a year.
It seems that there are two possibilities: if Nissan focuses on turning the vehicle into a real dynamic performer, the development process could take two years, while if the company will release a warm version, this could arrive in one year. The Juke Nismo would be built on the same production line as the normal Juke, but certain parts, like the engine, would be imported from Japan.
Want to know what we think Nissan? Go with the really fast one, send the torque steer of the Juke 1.6-liter turbo away, but don't make it an extra-rigid creature. Use the Renault Megane RS as an inspiration, even if this might sound weird.
