Nissan GTR's 2009 Improvements

Nissan is trying to better the GT-R with every chance they get. The next model is about to be launched and you might be interested by its tasty updates. It will be called the Series II Nissan GT-R R35 and the following changes will be made for next year's model.

It's engine output was upped from 480 hp to 485, so you now have 5 more hp to mash your head in the corners. There is a new color replacing the old white one. It is called Storm White and it sounds like the main male character from a winter holiday porn movie.

But you'd better hope that the ladies entering your car will not see the rebadged brake calipers, because it now says Nissan on them. Makes you wonder a bit, doesn't it? What was wrong with Brembo?

Still, to make up for the rebadged brakes, Nissan have removed the front license plate. This is a two way affair. It can be very good, because with no front license plate, your Nissan should be faster and better looking (hardly the case). But if your country's laws don't allow you to drive without front plates that means you have to put them on the dash, which would make you look like a dork, wandering around in a dealership rented vehicle.

Just so you reach your destination even though you are thrashing the thing on country lanes, they've also increased the gas tank size by 2.8 liters. That makes it worth more if you decide to sell it with a full tank of gas. What's more, the new Nissan travels further because it has (slightly) better fuel economy.

There is also a 5% price increase, which is not very Nissan-ish. Who are we kidding, it's still the bargain of the modern world.
