Canada’s first chrome car apparently was a made by a company called Re Style It. So naturally when it came to doing a blue chrome Nissan GT-R, they had the so-called dibs.

The Nissan GT-R is the quintessential Japanese supercar. It’s packed with technology, very fast and also quite safe. They don’t catch fire every other day like Ferraris do, and the engine is not in the back like on a Porsche 911 Turbo.

We rather like the styling as well, but it can be rather vague for some people. However, nothing is vague about blue chrome. But the process of chroming the GT-R is by no means easy: “Chrome is different from regular vinyl in its structure, stretching ability and application process. Because it easily loses its color and reflecting quality when overheated or stretched, chrome doesn’t forgive mistakes.”

For added kick, the GT-R’s rear and quarter windows are heavily tinted. Silver chrome accents are used to highlight the vents on the bonnet and on the side.
