Nissan GT-R with Extreme Liberty Walk Kit Shows It's Hard to Get Attention in Monaco

Monaco may be the European capital of the high-octane machines, but nowadays things have changed and it’s more and more difficult for attention seekers to receive what they’re questing for.

With the supercar and sportscar market expanding, more and more people have access to these menacing machines. Nonetheless, the narrow streets and the... sharp police officers in Monaco mean cars such as the Nissan GT-R, which are rather faster than representative of one’s wealth, may have a difficult time turning heads in Monaco.

However, this doesn’t stop people from trying their hand at temporary celebrity behind the wheel of a Godzilla. The latest example of this kind comes from the heavily modified GT-R in the video above.

The Nissan sports a Liberty Walk wide body kit. Those screwed-on fenders, as well as the generous rear wing, which seems to come straight from the racetrack, do add quite some visual drama to the Japanese machine.

Then there’s the custom exhaust, which screams as if this was one of those 2,000 HP GT-R that fight for supremacy on drag strips across the world. We don’t know the actual output of this particular car, but the point is that it doesn’t matter.

That’s because the owner only uses the soundtrack to try to impress car spotters and get them to film his ride. While he obviously achieved his goal, it was all a quest that saw him disturbing everybody around. For one thing, there’s a certain stretch of road that passes only a dozen inches away from some of the finest restaurants in the city.

It’s really difficult to get attention in Monaco these days and some would do anything for it...
