The Nissan GT-R is one of 2014’s hottest supercars, especially after setting a (controversial) 7:08 Nurburgring lap time. Basically a computer on wheels, the GT-R can take on just about any vehicle out there with a few tweaks, but one California owner decided to try something different.
He showed up at a daytime street race event and challenged a pack of Detroit-built classic musclecars, including Chevrolet Camaros and even a plum crazy Dodge Demon. As you might have already guessed, we’re talking about modified all-american racers, with high HP figures and nitrous shots.
Far more superior as far as technology is concerned, the GT-R wins all but one of the throw downs you’re about to see below. The 560 HP Japanese car loses to the pearl white Camaro, which is powered by a 375 HP V8 and some extra “spray” from the “can”. Watch the action below.
